What is the difference between a basic clean and a deep clean?

At Champs of Clean, a basic clean covers routine maintenance tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, and sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms. A deep clean goes further, tackling hard-to-reach areas, scrubbing grout, cleaning baseboards, wiping down blinds, and deep-cleaning appliances. We recommend a deep clean for first-time visits or homes that need extra attention.

Will I always have the same house cleaning technician?

We do our best to provide consistency by assigning the same technician whenever possible. However, due to scheduling or availability, we may send a different cleaner. Rest assured, every member of our team is trained to provide the same high-quality service.

Do I have to be home when you clean?

Not at all! Many of our clients provide us with a key, door code, or another secure entry method. If you prefer to be home, that’s great too! Just let us know your preference, and we’ll work with your schedule.

How do I prepare for a cleaning visit?

To help us clean efficiently, we ask that you:

What should we do with our pets during house cleaning visits?

We love pets! If your pet is friendly and comfortable with our cleaning team, they can stay in the home. However, for safety and efficiency, we recommend securing them in a separate room or crate—especially if they get nervous around vacuums or new people.

Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Yes! Champs of Clean is fully licensed, bonded, and insured. We prioritize safety, professionalism, and peace of mind for our clients.

Should I tip my house cleaning technician after a cleaning visit?

Tipping is not required but always appreciated! If you’d like to show extra gratitude for an exceptional job, a common tip is 10-20% of the cleaning cost or a flat amount (e.g., $10-$20). Some of our clients also give holiday bonuses to their regular cleaners.

Will you use my cleaning supplies and equipment?

We bring our own high-quality cleaning supplies and equipment to every job. However, if you have specific preferences, such as eco-friendly products or a particular vacuum, just let us know! We’re happy to accommodate your requests.
